In a highly commendable and praise-worthy step, the Indian Railways has prepared 3.2 lakh isolation beds by modifying 20,000 coaches in a record time, in the wake of the novel coronavirus. India saw one of the sharpest spike in the number of Covid-19 cases on Monday as 227 people tested positive in 24 hours. Other than this, Gujarat, Orissa and Assam have built isolation-ready hospitals in a record time.
