Coronavirus Outbreak: Over 2 million people affected by the pandemic across the globe

The novel coronavirus has affected more that 2 million people across the world since its outbreak in Wuhan, China in December last year. More than half of the number relates to outbreaks in European nations, but globally the single worst-hit country is the United States, with almost 610,000 identified Covid-19 patients and over 26,000 deaths recorded. As many as 185 countries have been affected by the pandemic.
