Court blamed the French state for air pollution

In a ground-breaking ruling, a local court has said that the French State is responsible for the air pollution in the Ile-de-France region around Paris. The court said that the state failed to prevent the heavy air pollution in the period of 2012-2016 that has caused a mother and her daughter asthma and bronchitis. However, they rejected their plea for compensation for failing to establish a connection between the events.
