The pro-democracy activists in Hong Kong will have to remain in custody as a court denied bail to them in a case where they are charged with conspiring to unsettle the government. As many as 47 opposition figures have been booked under the charges. Judge Victor So rejected 11 bail applications out of the 21 defendants in the court. The activists are now left with the option of filing for another review in eight days.
