Covid-19 crisis led to 23 million children missing routine vaccinations last year: UN report

An annual report by WHO and the United Nations Children's Fund has revealed that nearly 23 million children missed routine vaccinations last year due to the crisis posed by the coronavirus pandemic. The report said the worldwide vaccination coverage gap has created a "perfect storm". As per the report, more children have been left vulnerable to infectious infections due to the relaxing of Covid restrictions in several countries.
