The number of deadly coronavirus cases around the world continues to rise with the death toll soaring past 37,500. According to the Union health ministry, India observed one of the sharpest spikes in the number of coronavirus cases as 227 people tested positive in 24 hours, taking the total number of 1,251 with 32 deaths. As per John Hopkins, the death toll in the US due to coronavirus has exceeded the official China tally.
