The severe cyclonic storm that hit Odisha didn't result in casualties but damaged the environment badly. Odisha had once a green cover provided by over 1million trees that fell by the raging winds of Cyclone Fani. It's going to take more than a decade to recover. The residents are mourning the loss of trees as the entire greenery is gone. The challenge now is to initiate a large scale plantation drive.
