Spotify CEO vows $1 billion of his wealth to support deep-tech startups from Europe

Founder of Spotify, Daniel Ek, to invest $1.2 billion of his persona wealth in deeptech moonshots projects, spread across the next 10 years. He would like to invest in the sectors - machine learning, biotechnology, material sciences and energy. Ek said we need more super companies that can act as an inspiration and which can raise the bar. He also revealed his wish to level-up Europe against the US in terms of tech unicorns.
