According to the data from space research agency Inpe, the fires in Brazil's Amazon increased 13 percent in the first nine months of the year compared with a year ago. The Amazon rainforest is battling its worst fires in a decade. 32,017 hot spots of fire were spotted in the satellite imagery from September, which is a 61% increase from the same time last year. Experts believe only rain could help the forests from burning.
