The residents of Delhi are living in toxic and hazardous air conditions for the past 1 month. Every year the city gets engulfed by smog during this time of the year, causing breathing trouble and many other health troubles. At present Delhiites are breathing 25 times more toxic air than they should and this can reduce their life expectancy by 17 years. In the coming years, Delhi might witness a spike in the mortality rates.
