Death toll rises to 168 over 700 injured in Indonesia tsunami

Reportedly, 168 people were killed, 745 injured and 30 missing on the islands of Sumatra and Java after a tsunami struck coastal areas around the Sunda Strait on Saturday night after the eruption of volcano Anak Krakatau. The authorities expect the death toll to continue to rise. As per witness, The tsunami sent a wall of water, some 20 metres inland, “heavily damaging” buildings and homes.
