Delhi High Court seems to be very upset after it heard about the damage of 300-year-old banyan tree in Chandni Chowk area. The recent construction around the tree has worried many including the High Court. The banyan tree has suffered damage after the metal rods from an under-construction building tore through its branches and the dug up ground around the tree exposed its roots. The court wants to save the tree.
