Delhi, Mumbai slips in Liveability Index, dropped due to air quality, culture downgrade

Indian cities didn't do well in the Economist Intelligence Unit's Global Liveability Index for 2019. Both Delhi and Mumbai fell down ranks relative to last year. New Delhi dropped 6 places to 118, Mumbai fell by 2 places to 119, as a result of a downgrade in its culture category. Dhaka, Asian city, is the 3rd lowest-ranked city in the index and the weakest performer in Asia. Vienna and Melbourne are the toppers for years.
