Delhi Police files FIR in connection with JNU violence, CCTV being scanned

The Delhi Police said it has registered a First Information Report (FIR) in connection with violence in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on Sunday. The police has registered a case under section of rioting and damage of property. DCP, south-west Delhi, Devendra Arya said that social media and CCTV footages will be part of the investigation. The police said earlier that it received “multiple complaints” about JNU violence.
