Delhi Police Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal has granted the Delhi Police the power to arrest anyone under the stringent National Security Act till October 18. The Lieutenant Governor granted the special power to the Commissioner of Police on Saturday. The special power to the Delhi Police has reportedly been given in view of the Independence Day celebrations to beef up the security of the national capital.
