Delhi witnesses 15 times higher biomedical waste generation in June: EPCA

According to data shared by EPCA, Delhi has generated 15 times more biomedical waste in June as compared to the previous month. According to a report shared by the EPCA in the Supreme Court, the biomedical waste has increased due to coronavirus pandemic. The report also said that Delhi is not the only place that is witnessing such a menace but Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh too are facing similar issues.
