Dengue crisis in western UP intensifies, 60 deaths confirmed

Western Uttar Pradesh is battling the dengue haemorrhagic fever crisis that has claimed at least 60 lives till now. Firozabad is the worst affected district with 50 deaths being reported in the city and surrounding areas. Out of the 60 deaths in the state, 50 are children. The authorities are already treating it as an outbreak and a WHO team has identified the variant as 'haemorrhagic dengue', which is very dangerous.
