Denmark to cull over a million mink to curb coronavirus spread

The local farms in Denmark have been instructed to kill over 1 million mink by the government after several cases of coronavirus were observed among the animals. The Danish Patient Safety Authority has started collecting samples from mink farms ahead of culling the animals. "We have continuously launched initiatives to manage and contain the spread of infection," Mogens Jensen, the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries said.
