DGCA seeks stay on NGT circular, says airlines can't dump waste mid-flight

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has asked the National Green Tribunal (NGT) to put a stay on their order to send out circulars to all airlines against dumping of waste mid-flight after an expert committee claimed that it was impossible to dispose off waste during flight. The tribunal's order came after a petition from Satwant Singh Dahiya, whose house was allegedly splattered by human faeces.
