Directorate of Higher Education banned mobile phones in UP universities and colleges

The Directorate of Higher Education in UP has banned the use of mobile phones in universities and colleges in the state. The ban is applicable on both students and the teachers. Directorate of Higher education wants to reduce distractions so that students and teachers can both be more focused on studies without spending time on their mobile phones. The mobile phone has also been banned in CM's official meetings.
