Kolkata airport authorities apologised to 2 disability activists, of which one was told to remove her trousers. Polio survivor Kuhu Das was asked to remove her callipers despite telling a female security officer that she can't do it without taking off her trousers. Another activist Jeeja Ghosh was told she can't fly without an escort, who has cerebral palsy. They were allowed to travel after protests but both felt humiliated.
