Disabled Bangladeshi women sent back home from Assam after remaining missing for 5 years

A mentally disabled woman from Bangladesh, who went missing 5 years ago, was sent back to her home after she was found in Assam. The 46-year-old woman identified as Purabi Mahaldar had gone missing from her home in Jessore district of Bangladesh. She was traced in Assam’s Cacahar district, after which she was sent back by the Indian authorities through Sutarkandi International Border Point in Karimganj district.
