PM Modi has announced a nationwide lockdown for 21 days on March 24 and it has been put in place using an order under the Disaster Management act 2005. The NDMA issued guidelines to the Centre and have also listed out penalties for violation of the lockdown including spreading of fake news about coronavirus pandemic. You can go out of your house to buy essential goods, if not, you could be found guilty.
