Dosage error led to 90% success rate of Oxford coronavirus vaccine

The whole world got a sigh of relief when Oxford's coronavirus vaccine proved to be 90 percent successful against the disease. However, it was later revealed that it was the “serendipity” of an error that led to success. According to the scientists, the Oxford vaccine had an overall efficacy of 70%, but could be around 90% effective when patients are given a half dose followed by a full dose a month later.
