8 people lost their lives in a major dynamite blast in Karnataka's Shivamogga town on Thursday night. The blast shook the home district of Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa at around 10.15 pm. The explosion happened at a railway quarry site in Karnataka's Shivamogga district. The police have found some live dynamite sticks that hint at subsequent blasts at the quarry at Hunasondi near village Abbalagere.
