Efforts to turn Viraat into museum go in vain as image show decommissioned warship partly dismantled

Continuous efforts of several groups and organizations to convert Viraat, the decommissioned Indian Navy carrier, into a museum have gone in vain as the latest image from Alang in Gujarat shows the warship has already been partially dismantled. Envitech, a maritime consultancy firm was hopeful of buying the ship from the Shree Ram ship breakers in Alang for approximately Rs. 110 crore to save it from getting dismantled.
