El Salvador to receive $115 million in aid from US to curb migration

Samantha Power, administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), has said El Salvador will receive $115 million from US to slow down migration. "We can work with local partners in Central America to expand opportunities for youth and help them get away from violence," Power said while speaking at a conference on migration. The aid will include $50 million for security and $30 million for job training.
