Electricity to reach 3 Thatri villages in Jammu and Kashmir for the first time

Three unelectrified villages in Thatri in Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir are all set to get an electricity connection for the first time since India's independence. The villagers are likely to get electricity by January 15, 2021. This comes after the villager raised the issue of their villages not being electrified yet in a recent meeting with Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha. Thatri is 36 km away from the district headquarters at Doda.
