Every Indian citizen to have a health ID: PM Modi launches Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission

PM Narendra Modi today launched the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission. The PM announced that every Indian citizen will have a health ID under the mission. The ID will be used as the health account of citizens "to which personal health records can be linked and viewed with the help of a mobile application", PM Modi said. The PM said that the mission will play a key role in eliminating medical problems among the poorer classes.
