Ex-Planning Commission Advisor backs AAP's proposed free Metro rides to women

Renuka Viswanathan, the ex-principal advisor to the Planning Commission, wrote to PM Modi advocating the Delhi govt's proposed free metro rides for women. Her letter came days after ex-DMRC chief E Sreedharan wrote to the PM requesting him not to agree to the proposal as it would set alarming precedence. She also said she was impressed by the Delhi govt's free-ride proposal for its simplicity & administrative efficiency.
