Ex-SC judge AK Sikri appointed as NBSA Chairperson

Justice A.K. Sikri, the Former Supreme Court judge, has been appointed as the Chairperson of the News Broadcasting Standards Authority on Wednesday. He'll start his services on 26th May after Justice R.V. Raveendran will complete his tenure on 25th May as chairperson. Talking about Sikri's appointment, NBA President Rajat Sharma said Sikri's judiciary experience and an excellent record as a judge would strengthen the NBSA.
