Facebook continues to be EC partner, despite data theft allegations

The ECI, which announced a partnership with Facebook in June 2017 to help with managing the upcoming elections in Karnataka, will continue to work with them, despite the knowledge of the recent scandal facebook finds itself in. The commission has stated that they have taken all the necessary precautions. From the 1st to 4th of July, Facebook issued reminders to Indian citizens who are eligible to vote.
