Facing after effects of #MeToo wave, MAMI drops AIB and Rajat Kapoor

#MeToo movement has created problems for many and AIB is suffering the most. After Hotstar said that it will not stream ‘On Air with AIB’ on its platform another bad news has come for AIB. The MAMI has dropped 2 films- ‘Chintu ka Birthday’ by AIB and ‘Kadakh’ by Rajat Kapoor, after they were accused of sexual harassment cases. The Academy said they strongly support #MeToo and can’t tolerate such behavior.
