Finland has started to test robots in primary schools to teach language and mathematics. The language robot Elias and the mathematics robot OVObot have been deployed in Tampere to see if such technology can improve the quality of education. The trial period is one year. Robots have previously been used in the US, Asia and the Middle East as well. They have received positive feedback but still, need human assistance.
