An FIR has been lodged against Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Misra’s son Ashish Misra at Tikonia police station in connection with the Lakhimpur Kheri clashes that left 8 people including 4 farmers dead. According to the Samyukta Kisan Morcha, Misra was in the car that ran over a group of protesting farmers. The minister's son, however, claimed that it was the protestors who attacked his vehicle.
