First of its kind transplant: 13-yo Delhi girl receives liver from a recovered COVID-19 sister

A 13-year-old Delhi girl went through a successful liver transplant last month, had got liver from her sister who is a recovered COVID-19 patient. The transplant occurred in the Max Super Speciality Hospital in Saket on May 20 and as per the doctors, the girl could possibly be the first recipient of liver from a recovered coronavirus patient. The girl was suffering from a rare congenital disorder- Caroli disease.
