Pakistan's Justice Tahira Safdar, who was the first woman civil judge in Balochistan, had made history yet again by being appointed as the first woman Chief Justice of the High Court. Safdar, who had been previously overlooked for the position, was made the Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court. She will take up this position after the retirement of current Chief Justice Mohammad Noor Muskanzai.
