Odisha was recently hit by the strongest ever Cyclone Fani taking lives of nearly 8 people while others were evacuated due to the early predictions. Looking at the condition and destruction of the state due to Fani, the spiritual preacher Dalai Lama has offered a donation of Rs. 1,000,000 to the state government. He also wrote a letter to Naveen Patnaik to appreciate the relief efforts taken by his govt.
