For the first time since Galwan valley clash, China admits 5 soldiers were killed

After remaining tight-lipped for several months after the violent clash between Indian troops and Chinese troops in the Galwan valley, China has accepted casualties on its side for the first time. The Central Military Commission of China accepted that five Chinese frontier officers and soldiers stationed in the Karakoram Mountains lost their lives in the clash. However, independent figures are much higher than the count.
