Forest department rescues baby rhino separated from mother after Assam floods
The officials from the Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve rescued a baby rhinoceros that was separated from its mother due to the heavy floods in Assam. However, the forest officials were unable to track the mother rhino despite several efforts. 26 of the 33 districts in Assam have been submerged in water due to the heavy floods. Sixty-six wild animals have died in the floods in Kaziranga, including 2 rhinos.
