According to the local media reports, the former executive editor-in-chief of the now-closed pro-democracy Apple Daily tabloid was arrested by the Hong Kong police on Wednesday. While the police refused to reveal the identity of the arrested person, they said a 51-year-old former male newspaper editor was held on suspicion of "conspiring to collude with foreign countries or foreign forces to endanger national security."
