Former IAS officer Babulal Agarwal arrested by ED in disproportionate assets case

Former Chhattisgarh cadre IAS officer Babulal Agarwal was held by the Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday in connection with a disproportionate assets case pending against him. The 1985 batch IAS officer was earlier arrested by the CBI in connection with a corruption case. The former officer has been in the news for corruption charges since 2010 when he was first probed by the income tax authorities.
