Former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan to get Rs 1.3 crore in compensation from Kerala government

Former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, who was falsely accused and arrested in an espionage case, will get a compensation of Rs 1.3 crore from Pinarayi Vijayan-led Kerala government, as per the directive of the Supreme Court. The scientist earlier received Rs. 60 lakh after the top court directed the state government to give Rs 50 lakh and then the national human rights commission directed to give Rs 10 lakh.
