Former Minneapolis cops plead not guilty in George Floyd death case

Derek Chauvin, Thomas Lane, J Alexander Kueng and Tou Thao, the four former Minneapolis police officers involved in the deadly arrest of George Floyd, pleaded not guilty to federal charges of violating Floyd's civil rights. The former cops were fired after Floyd's arrest on May 25, 2020. Chauvin was sentenced to 22.5 years. A video of Chauvin kneeling on the neck of the handcuffed Floyd sparked outrage after going viral.
