Four new judges take oath of office to join the Supreme Court

The total count of judges at the apex court has now reached 34 after four new Supreme Court judges took the oath of office on Monday. The Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi administered the oath of office and secrecy. The judges Krishna Murari, S. Ravindra Bhat, V. Ramasubramanian and Hrishikesh Roy, took the oath in a simple function in courtroom 1. The apex court Collegium recommended the judges for elevation.
