Former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, who was arrested in a false espionage case of selling the secret drawing of ISRO rocket engines to Pakistan in 1994, received Rs 50 lakh in damages after being exonerated by Supreme Court. Nambi said that the case involved multiple conspirators seeking the destruction of same victims and former President Kalam had asked him to give up fighting but he wanted to find the truth.
