The Sri Lankan Navy has said that fresh fires that erupted on a large oil tanker drifting off Sri Lanka have been brought under control with joint efforts by Indian and Sri Lanka. The ship was carrying nearly 2 million barrels of crude oil. The fresh fires erupted a day after the initial fires were doused. "The ship is being towed by a tugboat to out to sea,” said navy spokesperson Indika de Silva.
