Fresh wave of serious Covid19 cases in France raises concern

France is witnessing a fresh surge in coronavirus cases with Covid-19 hospitalizations being on a rise. The highest number of cases of the pandemic since April were reported in Spain. French President Emmanuel Macron chaired a meeting to discuss steps to curb the further spread. Nearly 10,000 cases of the pandemic were reported in France on Thursday. Spain recorded 4,708 new infections over 24 hours.
