Gender gap has narrowed in research work in India

In India, more women are participating in science, technology, mathematics, and economics research works, narrowing down the gender gap, according to a recent report. It says that every one in three research papers published in India is written by a female author. In subjects like Humanities, psychology and dentistry the men and women ratio is almost equal with 1 female author for every 1.5 male authors.
