Ghana launches the world's only proven malaria vaccine for infants as part of a landmark campaign, a week after Malawi became the 1st country to do so. Many people get killed mainly in Africa & so they hoped the vaccine would bring down the toll. Babies were vaccinated & Ghana hopes to be a malaria-free country. The vaccine named after its lab initials RTS,S passed scientific trials & found to be safe, effective.
